As we mentioned under the heading of the shock absorber chock, the shock absorber is an automotive part that helps to reduce the severity and impact of the jolts that will occur due to the bumps on the road while driving. Other parts that help this part and are used together are parts such as bearings and balls. The combination of these parts is called shock absorber kits.

Strut bearing is an important component that affects the steering response. When the steering wheel is turned, the shock absorber ball rotates in its bearing. In this way, it is a part that allows it to control the angle and alignment of the wheels.

The shock absorber mount is the part that connects the shock absorber to the vehicle chassis. It is also known as shock absorber lug or shock absorber tower. Many front shock absorber mounts also contain a ball that allows it to move with the steering column. There is a rubber insulation material in the middle of the block that absorbs impacts. The function of the shock absorber mounts to dampen the impact and vibrations of the impact that occurs when the vehicle passes through pits and bumps.

The task of the crankcase ventilation system is to ensure that the engine oil vapor and leaking gases formed in the crankcase are sent to the intake manifold for re-combustion. With this system, while fugitive gases in the crankcase are sent to the combustion, fresh air is also provided to the crankcase. Gas circulation occurs inside the engine, between the crankcase and the valve cover, through the oil channels in the block. The breather hose is the crankcase ventilation drain hose where the pcv valve is located. Crankcase gases escape from this hose. The other hose is the vent hose of the crankcase. One end of the hose is connected to the tube end on the valve cover and the other end of the hose is connected in front of the throttle. There is no valve in this hose.

In order for a motor to maintain its balance while providing power to the wheels, motor connections must be used. These fittings are called engine mounts. Although the shapes or materials of these parts differ, their basic functions are the same. Apart from that, it serves to fix the motor. In this way, it prevents the vehicle engine from slipping during sudden maneuvers or when climbing or descending ramps, when you drive your vehicle on rough terrain.

If the fluid in the radiator cannot go where it should go in the engine block, overheating appears in the engine. Radiator hose is used to prevent this. Radiator hose is the piece that connects the radiator and the engine block. Thus, the coolant is transferred to the required places in the engine and engine cooling is provided.

There are 2 different connection lines on the wishbone to be included in the suspension system. These connecting lines are ball joint and wishbone bushings. Wishbone bushings are parts made of rubber and metal compound used to connect the wishbone to the chassis.

As described under the wishbone bushing title, we call the wishbone bushing kits to combine the bushings that allow the wishbone to be included in the suspension system and form a kit.

The part between the shock absorber body and the shock absorber upper link is called the shock absorber bellows (suspension bellows). The function of the suspension dust bellows prevents the shaft entering the shock absorber from dust. The combination of suspension bellows and suspension wedges and forming a kit is called suspension wedge kits.

The shaft is the intermediate shaft used to transmit the motion received from the gearbox output shaft to the differential. Shaft is also known as the cardan shaft name. In short, it can be called the mechanical part that connects the gearbox to the differential. The shaft transmits the movement that the gearbox takes from the output shaft to the differential box. The gearbox’s torque is transmitted to the differential and from there to the axle shafts and wheels. Power transmission plays an important role in transmitting this power to the wheels.

The transmission mount is a part that supports the transmission and prevents the gearbox from vibrating and making noise while the vehicle is running. It consists of a metal part outside and a rubber part inside.

The traverse is a carrier part located at the front and rear of the vehicle and connected to the chassis from both ends. Engine gearbox and some front assembly parts are fixed to this part. The parts that allow the traverse to be connected to the chassis are the traverse bushings. Due to the need to fix such parts to a solid point, the sleeper part is mounted directly on the chassis and is itself a part produced from a very strong material.

Turbo hoses compress the air from the atmosphere and transmit it to the engine. These hoses have to resist higher temperatures depending on the temperature of the environment in which they operate. So turbocharged hoses can be available in silicone, fluorosilicon, EBDM rubber and different materials depending on the situation.

When the bend iron is attached to the stabilizer link, it cannot be fixed between the wheels only, so it must be fixed under the vehicle. This fixing piece is called the anti-roll bar bush. Using rubber as a material not only prevents the iron from being damaged by hitting, but also prevents discomfort by making noise. There are two anti-roll bar bushes on both the front axle and the rear axle.
